ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1. WELCOME TO WINGS OF PRAYER

We are privileged to be able to pray with you for your needs and concerns, and want to assure you that they are very important to us. We also wish to thank icidal Web Design (formerly Burlington Web Design) for the excellent job they did on our website.

2. Volunteers: We are always looking for volunteers to pray for the requests that are submitted to Wings of Prayer. No matter how young or old, how rich or poor, how healthy or ill, a prayer ministry is something we all can do. Let's join our hearts and voices, agree together, and pray expecting answers, and see what God has in store. Submissions to TESTIMONIES: If you have something special you would like to share that God has done for you, or that you are grateful for, please e-mail me and mark "Testimony" in the subject area. By sharing together the good things God does for us, I hope we may encourage each other in our daily walk.

5. NOTICE: Website Updates:

a. Removal of Guestbook - Several months ago someone infected our Guestbook with a computer virus, so we have had to delete it. Also, a few people repeatedly posted commercial ads or links to commercial websites. Because of these incidents, we will not be adding a new Guestbook to the site. We do thank all of you who had written comments and encouraging messages, and regret that we have had to take this step.

b. Bi-Monthly Devotionals Beginning January 2009 - We hope to have bi-monthly devotionals on a regular basis beginning in January 2009, and would like to invite readers to participate. Please see the samples by clicking on the link to our website and, if you are interested in writing a devotional for us, please watch for further announcements after the first of the year.

6. Awards: We are honored to be chosen as one of the recipients of the "Christians with Chronic Illness/Pain Award" from Rest Ministries. Please take a look at our "Links and Awards" page to view the award and new links that have been added. If you struggle with chronic pain and illness, please visit the Rest Ministries website by clicking on the link on our "Links and Awards" page.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A PRAYER PARTNER?

Thank you to those of you who have expressed an interest in being part of our Prayer Team. Although anyone can go to our website and pray for the requests listed there, and we do encourage this; it is my desire to have a sufficient team of prayer warriors in place so that all prayer requests are being prayed for by someone every day. Also, some people do not wish to have their requests posted, yet we want to make sure these requests are also being prayed for.

Therefore, if you are interested in being a member of the Prayer Team, I ask that you write to me at our e-mail address listed above, put "Prayer Team" in the subject of your e-mail, let me know which day of the week you are willing to pray for the requests, and be sure to include own your e-mail address. I will confirm the day(s) you sign up for (you may pray on more than one day if you are able), and will send you any non-posted requests that have come in. For the posted requests, just go to our website's prayer page. Be sure to offer prayers of praise for the praise reports and testimonies that are on our Praise and Testimony page, as well.
